Celebrate Women in Tech Today

“We have plenty to celebrate in New Zealand on International Women’s Day as our gender diversity stats begin to stack up favourably, but we still need to achieve gender parity,” says NZTech Industry Association, CEO, Graeme Muller.

Mounting research shows that firms with women in senior management positions enjoy superior economic performance, especially in companies focused on innovation.

“Increasing the number of women in senior management roles across the tech sector, the country’s fastest growing sector, is critical to driving economic prosperity in New Zealand,” he says on International Women’s Day.
