NZTech Inform – tech for a better tomorrow

Kia ora,

As we slide into the holiday season, it’s time to save an important date for 2023! Techweek returns 13-20 May and its eight days of connection to celebrate tech and innovation in Aotearoa New Zealand. Techweek23 is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how tech can help keep people connected, inspire the next generation, showcase local tech talent and our tech capability. Prepare to upload your events from 1 February.

There’s so many ways you can be involved in Techweek23 from organising and hosting events, sponsorship and regional coordination. Every year Techweek grows with more events, more speakers and more attendees. Review our Techweek22 Highlights Report here. This report details our audiences, demographics, survey results and more. Plus, if you missed a session from this year’s  Techweek TV, you can view on demand here.

Meanwhile, in the latest TIN Report fintech emerged as the second largest tech sub-sector by revenue.  Local fintech firms now generate $2.14 billion in offshore revenues. To support this momentum FinTechNZ in collaboration with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) have launched a short survey to gain more data insights. Please share your experience on key export issues and barriers to market. The results will help inform export focused companies to grow internationally. Please complete the survey here.

Ngā mihi
