Explore cleantech opportunities in South Korea

Do you have a new technology based solution to sustainability challenges?

The Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono is offering six places for emerging ESG/Cleantech business leaders to join a funded delegation to South Korea in May 2024.

This delegate will be joining a New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) led ESG/Cleantech Visit Programme to South Korea. Companies developing or using technology to address global sustainability challenges with a strong interest in South Korea are encouraged to apply.

Why South Korea?

South Korea is a global leader in innovation with R&D totalling 4.8 percent of GDP. With a population over 51 million, the investment in environment and sustainable industries continues to grow, with yearly investment currently sitting around 38.9 trillion ($45 billion NZD).

What is involved?

The delegation will gain insights of the ESG and cleantech landscape in South Korea, including innovation, government regulation and investment networks. There will be opportunities for delegates to introduce their solutions and expand their network.

This is a bespoke programme designed in partnership with NZTE and will be customised for the successful applicants. Tentative programme dates: 26 May – 1 June, 2024.
