The IoT Alliance is pleased to partner with Chorus to announce the release of their new report, ‘Solving problems with fibre-enabled IoT’. The report is designed to highlight the promising outlook that IoT leaders have toward innovative technologies like AI and cloud computing, and how they’re integrating these technologies with high-bandwidth fibre-enabled non-premise IoT.
“A key part of a connected New Zealand is the acceleration and uptake of IoT. According to our report “Accelerating a Connected New Zealand”, better use of IoT could create at least $2.2 billion in net economic benefit for New Zealand over the next 10 years. IoT advances, and extends digital connectivity to devices, sensors, and networks in homes, businesses and far beyond, making its potential far reaching”,
says Kriv Naicker Chair, NZ IoT Alliance.
We carried out research amongst the NZ IoT Alliance members to uncover a mix of quantitative insights that informed this report. The findings from our research show how New Zealand organisations are prioritising efficiency and cost savings whilst embracing innovative strategies, such as combining high-bandwidth, fibre enabled non-premise IoT with advanced technologies and automation, to streamline operations and provide world-class customer experiences (CX).“We’re confident that the insights from this research will be critical for any technology leader who wants to future-proof their IoT investments and thereby contribute to creating a stronger ecosystem in New Zealand”, says Naicker.
