New research by Deloitte in partnership with InsurTechNZ provides insight into the collaboration strategies of insurers and startups in New Zealand and Australia, including the drivers and barriers. Over 88% of respondents are currently collaborating to solve challenges, and you can read more about their experiences here.
Welcome to UnderwriteMe, the latest company to join InsurTechNZ. The vibrancy of the local insurtech ecosystem was evident at Resonate, the half-day event hosted by Simfuni in association with InsurTechNZ. The event attracted people from 78 different companies from across the insurance sector wanting to learn more about applying data and digital strategies to insurance.
To continue the conversation, come to our final member event for 2024, on 28 November in Auckland. We’ll be discussing the use of data and analytics to better understand risk and respond to natural hazards.
Innovative solutions will also be highlighted tomorrow at the Insurance Industry Awards where ‘Start Up of the Year’ will be contested by JAVLN, InsuredHQ, and Simfuni. Other names to watch out for include Folio (Broker Network of the Year) and RedBook (Service Provider to the Industry). Good luck to all our members who are finalists!
