Kia ora,
As we step into 2025, we’re looking ahead to another year of collaboration, innovation and impact within our tech community. At the NZTech Group, we work hard making it easier for our 2,000+ members to get on with the business of tech, while contributing to a more sustainable, equitable, prosperous, and safe Aotearoa.
Here’s how we plan to keep delivering member value to you this year:
🔗 Strengthening connections
This year, our signature national conferences return, connecting tech professionals and policy makers across AI, digital trust, cybersecurity, fintech, life sciences and more. Our networking events will continue to foster valuable connections and empower members to thrive. If you haven’t already saved your local date for ShadowTech25, do it now. We’re inspiring young women to explore tech careers and connect them with role models.
📈 Promoting tech’s value to the economy
Techweek25 is on the horizon and is now accepting event submissions. This year we’re celebrating tech’s potential to drive progress, solve challenges and shape a brighter future. See you in May!
📣 Advocating for smart tech policy
Our team is actively engaging with the government to ensure smart, forward-thinking policies support the growth of our ecosystem. From AI governance and digital skills to emissions reduction and cybersecurity, we’ll continue championing the policies that matter most to you. Reach out if you’d like to play a more active role in our government submissions process in 2025.
It’s clear: when we work together, we go further and faster.
It’s no secret that our most successful members are also our most actively engaged. They leverage NZTech to build their brand, connect with talent and partners, and shape policies that enable their businesses to thrive.
We’re excited to work with you in 2025 to continue driving impact and shaping the future of tech in Aotearoa.
Ngā mihi nui,
Graeme Muller
