I’m thrilled to see more than 230 events taking place across Aotearoa over the next seven days. They’re all designed to inspire, upskill, and showcase the incredible depth and diversity of our tech sector.

🌟 Techweek25 Official Launch: Collective Imagining

Tonight, we officially launch Techweek25 at Deloitte’s headquarters in Auckland with Collective Imagining: A Brighter Tech-Enabled Future for Aotearoa.

This sold-out event is the perfect starting point for the week. It’s a chance to reflect on how technology is transforming our lives and how we shape a better tomorrow together.

I’m especially looking forward to hearing from Adrian Smith, CEO of Blinkpay, who will draw on lessons from open banking to explore how we can remove barriers to growth and adoption in tech.

We’ll also hear from two expert panels covering everything from digital public infrastructure and Gen AI, to SME productivity, fintech transformation, and regional accessibility.
