NZTech Group Board Nominations Now Open

As we prepare for our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), it’s time to open the call for NZTech Group Board nominations. NZTech Group is the united voice for technology in Aotearoa, working to grow the impact and uptake of tech across the nation. Our collective vision is a more prosperous, equitable, sustainable and safe Aotearoa — enabled by technology.

At the heart of this vision is a values-led, connected tech community. Our mission is to create collective impact by growing a diverse tech talent pipeline, lifting exports and investment, and supporting innovation across every region and sector of New Zealand.

To continue delivering meaningful impact, we need a purposeful, forward-thinking Board to help steer our course. That’s why we’re inviting nominations from individuals ready to make a difference.

🧭 Who We’re Looking For

In line with our Board Diversity & Inclusion Policy, we welcome nominations from individuals with a passion for tech’s potential to improve lives.

To keep delivering meaningful outcomes, NZTech requires a forward-thinking, experienced Board. This year we are particularly seeking candidates with:

• Governance experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• A technical focus on financial oversight, including budgeting, audit, risk controls, and strategic financial management, to chair our Finance Sub-Board.

We are also seeking continuity. Three current Board members are standing for re-election. Their reappointment would help maintain valuable momentum, institutional knowledge, and leadership continuity. However, nominations are open to all eligible members, and we welcome diverse voices and new perspectives to help guide our future.

• 2 x Corporate Major
• 1 x Other Corporates

Nominees must be from NZTech member organisations. They can be nominated by any member within the tier they’re seeking to represent.

All nominations must be submitted by 5pm, Friday 11 July 2025.
