Applications are now open for the NZIAT Artificial Intelligence Research Platform — a landmark Government investment of up to $70 million over seven years to accelerate world-class AI research and commercialisation in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This funding backs bold, collaborative proposals that:

• Push the boundaries of AI science and technology
• Build strong partnerships between researchers, industry, and investors
• Create new knowledge‑intensive firms and high-value skills pipelines across New Zealand

Applications open:  23 October – 20 November 2025
