Visit Tech AllianceSeptember Newsletter – LocationTech Reinvented
Welcome to the first edition of the LocationTech newsletter. As a reminder, the Spatial Industry Business Association (SIBA) joined the New Zealand Tech Alliance and has been reinvented LocationTech. We have a re-energised purpose, empowering innovation with location-based technology.
If you haven’t had the opportunity as yet, please check out our new website to learn more about our mission and goals. If Twitter is your thing, then follow us at @LocationTech_NZ and if it’s not, then check out our LinkedIn page where we will also share information.
As New Zealand continues to navigate a path through the Covid-19 pandemic, location has become more important than ever. Whilst you don’t need location technology to keep socially distant, organisations and businesses need the power of spatial intelligence to help adapt to change, to empower their operations, find efficiencies and take advantage of new opportunities.
As a member of this community, please remember to help spread the use of spatial information throughout your organisation. LocationTech is one voice, but with your help we collectively have greater impact and reach. If you would like to be more involved in LocationTech please get in touch.
In the meantime, sit back and learn more about our new Chair, Sam Drummond, in this Q&A
