This week, I am meeting with Minister Andersen, whose portfolio includes the Digital Economy, to update her on a number of tech industry initiatives including progress of the industry Code of Practice for Online Safety and Harms, and of course Techweek. As we enter the election season, I’m interested in how the digital economy is being prioritised in Labour’s pre-election thinking.
