Enhancing Dyslexia Inclusion in the Workplace

We’re supporting Unlock Innovation to understand more about the issues surrounding unrecognised and underutilised dyslexic talent in New Zealand.

Up to one in five New Zealanders are dyslexic, a neurodiversity that is often concealed. Dyslexics make up approximately 35 percent of entrepreneurs and many have founded leading brands. Despite progress in accommodating diverse learners in schools, dyslexia in the workplace is often overlooked.

NZTech joins Canterbury Tech in this collaboration to understand more about the issues surrounding unrecognised and underutilised dyslexic talent in New Zealand.

We seek to identify ways to support leaders, managers, coworkers, and dyslexic individuals in the workplace, empowering organisations to harness the innovative potential that dyslexic individuals possess.
