Entrepreneur of the Year
The Entrepreneur of the Year award recognises an individual who has demonstrated exceptional vision, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit in the blockchain space. This recipient has successfully launched and scaled a venture that has made a significant impact on the industry, showcasing resilience and innovation. Their contributions extend beyond business success, inspiring others and driving forward the adoption of blockchain technology in various sectors.
Professional Services Firm of the Year
The Professional Services Firm of the Year award honours a firm that has provided outstanding services to the blockchain industry, demonstrating expertise, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. This recipient has played a crucial role in supporting businesses and individuals in navigating the complexities of blockchain technology, offering valuable insights, strategic guidance, and innovative solutions that have propelled the industry forward.
Banking Partner of the Year
The Banking Partner of the Year award recognises a financial institution that has demonstrated a commitment to fostering innovation and supporting innovative businesses and customers within the banking sector. Their approach is paving the way for greater collaboration between traditional finance and the blockchain ecosystem, unlocking additional market segments for the banking sector and growing the New Zealand economy.
Business of the Year
The Business of the Year award celebrates a company that has achieved remarkable success and made a significant impact in the blockchain industry over the past year. This recipient has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing the adoption of blockchain technology. Their contributions have not only driven business growth but have also positively influenced the broader community and ecosystem.
Innovative Solution of the Year
The Innovative Solution of the Year award honours a pioneering product, service, or technology that has transformed the blockchain landscape. This award recognises a solution that exemplifies creativity, effectiveness, and a measurable impact on the industry or community. The recipient has addressed critical challenges and set new benchmarks for innovation, inspiring others to explore the potential of blockchain technology.

- Nominations Open: Tuesday, 2 October 2024
- Nominations Close: Wednesday, 30 October 2024
- Eligibility: Companies must be BlockchainNZ members to be eligible for nomination.
- Anyone can nominate, and you can submit multiple nominations across any category.

Make sure the company you’re nominating is a BlockchainNZ member.
If you’re unsure, please get in touch.
Please note, individual nominations will be evaluated separately.
Voting Details
There will be a separate community voting process for BlockchainNZ and Web3NZ members.
If a category doesn’t receive enough nominations, our judging panel from BlockchainNZ and Web3NZ will select companies to fill the finalist spots, ensuring a competitive and inclusive awards process.
Once nominations are finalised, the top four-five finalists in each category will be entered into the voting process.
BlockchainNZ members will receive further instructions on the voting process via email once the nominations close on Wednesday, 30 October. Please keep an eye on your inbox for more information.
