About this event

The Centre of Digital Enterprise once again invites you to hear from top experts in the area of sustainability and digital strategy about how Aotearoa should address sustainability challenges (e.g. net zero targets) and what enterprises, professional associations and tech providers (and policy makers) can do to make Aotearoa an exemplary case of a tech-driven sustainable nation.

14.45 – 16.00: Panel led by Mitchell Pham with panellists: Molly Harris Olson, Carol Brown and Graeme Muller. Each panellist will present their vision in 10min followed by a discussion led by the moderator and a Q&A session.

About our presenters:

Molly Harriss Olson – Director, Global Partnership and former CEO Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand

As the CEO of Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand, Molly Harriss Olson led a dynamic team strengthening Fairtrade supply chains, growing revenue and bolstering environmental and economic sustainability practices throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Recognised for her three decades of leadership in sustainable development, Molly has convened, driven and contributed to numerous boards, business leadership and sustainability initiatives. She speaks widely to senior business, government and civic leadership groups, sharing her expertise in sustainability, economic redesign, green building innovation, fair trade and development issues.

Among Molly’s achievements, she delivered the opening plenary of the World Economic Forum’s 2000 meeting in Davos, chaired Swedish King Carl Gustaf’s Business Leadership and the Environment Symposium in 1996, and was named one of the Australian Financial Review’s “100 Women of Influence” in 2014. She served as the Executive Director on President Clinton’s Council on Sustainable Development at the White House from 1992 to 1996.

Carol Brown

Carol is a Sales Director at Microsoft where she leads a team across Australia and New Zealand in the Enterprise business. In addition to this she is a passionate coach and loves to support others to be as awesome as they can possibly be. She believes in the power of coaching cultures both internally and externally as an enabler for change.

I am an ICF Certified Leadership Coach, DISC and EQ Consultant and proud to represent Aotearoa on the Forbes Coaches Council”

Graeme Muller

Graeme Muller is the CEO of NZTech, an not-for-profit, member funded NGO that represents 20 tech associations with over 1,800 members who employ more than 10% of the workforce. During his tenure, NZTech’s membership has seen phenomenal growth and brings the tech ecosystem together to deliver collective impact focused on creating a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous Aotearoa New Zealand. Graeme has a 20 year career in technology and business research, management consultancy and marketing across multiple sectors and geographies.

Mitchell Pham

Mitchell Pham is a technology innovator and business entrepreneur of 3 decades in New Zealand and nearly 2 decades in South East Asia. He is a Co-founder and Director of CodeHQ, Kiwi Connection Tech Hub, and ApacGulf, the Chair of the Digital Council for Aotearoa NZ, NZTech Board and Sustainability Subboard, a Co-chair of FinTechNZ Sustainability Working Group, the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Auckland Business School, and Honorary Advisor at the Asia NZ Foundation. Internationally, Mitchell is recognised as an Asia 21 Fellow and Global Council Member of the Asia Society, and Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
