Pixel Fusion presents ‘The Great Innovation Debate’
Is building capability & culture more important for innovation than governance & process? Join us to find out: 21 May at Pixel Fusion, 5pm
As a Design Tech Studio in Auckland, Pixel Fusion is excited to hold this debate under the Build Capability category for Techweek19:
‘Is building capability and culture more important for successful innovation than governance and process?’
Two teams will duke it out, and there’ll be ample opportunity for the audience to get involved! Our event is designed to give you industry insights and actionable knowledge to use in your business.
Business success relies on a strong innovation system. Too often, companies under-invest in developing a robust, evolving innovation capability that lasts for decades and continuously transforms the company. Organisations need to understand what digital capability is: how it can be activated through the culture of a company; why building skills through learn-by-doing challenges is so important, and how governance affects the processes; which will ultimately lay the foundations for world-changing innovation, entrepreneurship and businesses.
Last year we brought together the likes of Scott K Bishop, CIO of Z Energy; Teresa Pollard, International Customer Advisor from NZTE; Sonya Crosby, exCIO of SkyCity; Lisa Miles-Heal, GM and CTO of Unleashed Software; Hamish Nuttall, CDO of ThinkLazy and Pavan Vyas, CEO & MD of Rush to discuss whether Corporates required Startups to innovate effectively.
This year’s going to be even bigger and better, as an official Techweek19 Programme Highlight event, we’re bringing together some of New Zealand’s most experienced (and opinionated) entrepreneurs and innovators to share their thoughts in this debate.
