The Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Digital Futures) of Victoria University of Wellington, Professor Steven Warburton, invites you to a public lecture by Gavin Starks, Founding CEO of UK’s Open Data Institute
We face challenges at an unprecedented scale, from scaling global agriculture and renewable energy, from climate change to healthcare. Data is everywhere, fuelling the systems we, our governments and businesses use to make decisions and, increasingly, the systems that machines use to make decisions for us. How might we better harness the human and machine capital at our disposal to address them?
