NZTech is generally supportive of the Amendment Bill which has come from the Electricity PriceReview and seeks to enhance competition and service to consumers. We support theamendments that enhance an efficient market, increase the consumer voice, improveregulations from the consumer perspective, remove ambiguity, and clarify the Authority’spowers.

As the voice of the technology ecosystem, in 2016 NZTech set about finding out just how important technology is for New Zealand.
